I once heard that the things that make us feel alive are the ones that truly make up our lives. I love that. That’s part of the reason that seeing seniors who regularly invest in the lives of others, makes me so happy. That’s also one reason why I so enjoy having these types of girls on my senior team: because it’s not about being the most “model-worthy” (although they are all stunning), it’s about their character and the person they are as well. Ashley is an incredibly bubbly and extroverted girl, who is graduating from Chaparral High School.
She is an accomplished athlete, who loves staying very active. She participates in club volleyball, and you can usually find her trying out the newest yoga studio in town, or checking out a great cycling class. Of course, anything done in the outdoors is something she loves, whether it’s exploring new hiking trails or hanging out with friends. But the most important things in her life are the ones that exemplify her others-centered self. She recently helmed a toy drive for the Phoenix Children’s Hospital at Christmastime, and she spend the majority of her time volunteering in the local animal shelter and food banks. “Inside school, through the National Honor Society, I am able to have access to volunteering in an abundance of service activities, both school sponsored and community sponsored”, she explained.
We did this shoot at Saguaro Ranch, which is a historic park in Glendale, Arizona. The beautiful grounds have the perfect mix of buildings and greenery, and they showed off Ashley’s bright smile and emotive eyes. You’ll have to scroll to the end to see her college choice!
