We haven’t had many guys here on the blog lately, but I love the different dynamic and fun that they add to their senior sessions! I enjoy photographing both young men and young ladies, and creatively, it adds interest for me as far as posing and styling. Chris was a delight to work with, just one of the nicest kids I have ever met. He was one of my 2016 spokesmodels (I loved getting a guy’s voice in there!), and is kind, funny, and talented. He’s a great musician, and sings with the Sunnyslope High School Vocal Ensemble (you can view a video he posted on his IG account here if you want to hear for yourself). He played a very dashing Lord Evelyn Oakleigh in their production of Anything Goes this year, and was awesome! Chris has been a total rockstar for each and every shoot, showing up with a smile and a killer wardrobe every single time; whether it was our shoot in 115 degree weather, or helping me hold down a backdrop during our windblown Valentines Day gathering! I’ve always thought he could play McDreamy’s younger brother (Grey’s Anatomy anyone?) with his charming smile!
For his modern, urban styled shoot, he paired lots of solid colors with neutrals, which looked amazing with the light. We even were able to include his beloved guitar, and he looks ready for his first album cover! After his graduation, he is off to Northern Arizona University. I have loved working with him, and I will totally miss his upbeat presence on my team next year!
