Emily | Seniors | Sunnyslope High School

Downtown Phoenix Senior Portraits sessions are some of my absolute favorites! Meet Emily, a Class of 2016 Senior at Sunnyslope High School. This sweet girl is planning to major in Marine biology major at a California school. As a student at Sunnyslope, she participated 3 years in varsity swim and advanced dance. I asked Emily how her friends would describe her and her reply was “Playful, loud, funny and outgoing!” I would have to agree, but would also add how much she loves kids and hopes to be a mom someday. She is a much sought after babysitter in her community and I happen to know she makes a great Camp Counselor at our church’s Summer camp!

For her session, we headed downtown and found a great spot with bricks and beautiful lighting. We also found some locations that really showed off her Girl Next door style. Emily is one of my Class of 2016 Spokesmodels and I have loved getting to know her this year!  I work hard to make sure each session is different and reflects the personality of the senior I am working with. But it is truly the SENIORS themselves who inspire me. It is their personality and unique beauty that colors every image! It is so much fun for me to bring that out and capture it during their portrait session.
