What exactly is the SSP Senior Team?
It is a team of girls from local high schools in the Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona areas, who get to bond over exclusive team events, the best senior photos and creative stylized shoots, all while representing Sandi Shipley Photography! Every year I bring a group of girls together to create one rocking team! My goal is always to have a place where new friendships are made, where the girls can be themselves and be celebrated for their unique strengths and beauty. My goal is to create a team of inclusive, kind, outgoing, body positive and fun high school seniors to share their year and create memories to last a lifetime.
What it’s NOT…
First and foremost, my senior Team is about building community and creating a positive, inclusive and fun environment. We just so happen to do that while creating some gorgeous images and having a great time. Do I want my girls to share their images and talk to their friends about their experiences? Of Course! Will I reward my girls for sharing or sending their friends my way? Absolutely! But I will never hold your Senior Portrait Session ransom until you’ve reached some booking goal or sent me 100 friends to spam. I will never REQUIRE you to reach a set number or referrals or jump through hoops to turn you into Sales People. Ick! That is so not what my Team is about! Are you a Class of 2022 incoming senior at one of our local high schools who loves being a rock star and playing in front of the camera? Do you want to be a part of something EPIC?
If so, YOU are who we are looking for.
Shooting senior photos is what I am passionate about, and I wanted to create a program that was about more than just “marketing”. I wanted my Senior Team to be about authentic community and relationships, and to give them an experience they would treasure for a lifetime. To join my team, you don’t have the be the “prettiest”, “skinniest” or “most accomplished”. I’m never searching for a specific “look”, it’s more important for me to have outgoing and friendly young women who want to join in on a unique experience to highlight their Senior Year. I’m looking for motivated, involved, kind, funny, girls who love to meet others and are not afraid to give it their all! We will spend a little over a year together, lifting each other up and celebrating our little community.
What’s in it for you?
What does it take to be on my Senior Team? You must be a current junior, a Class of 2022 graduating Senior who is willing to Represent only Sandi Shipley Photography for the 2021-2022 school year. Senior Team members participate in styled shoots, team events, BFF Sessions and have their Senior Portrait session done by SSP. We do look for girls who are active on social media, and will share their images and experience with their friends! Think of your role as a Brand Ambassador… with lots of perks.
How do I join?
It all starts with a simple application! My application process will help me find the girls that will be a great fit for my team and with each other. The selected girls will be notified no later than March 5th and will be invited to meet with me in person to go over all the dates and the details for the program. You can ask questions, meet the other girls invited to participate, and see samples of my work. At that point, if you are ready to secure your place, you will be asked to sign the SSP Team agreement and Model Release as well as choose which session you would like to book for Senior Pictures. A $300 Session deposit is required to hold your spot on the team. Then the fun begins!
Again, applications will be open from February 15-28, 2021! Want to join in on the fun? Click through and complete the APPLICATION . Tell me all about yourself and why you have what it takes to represent SSP. Good luck and I look forward to reading your answers 🙂
LAST YEAR I HAD OVER 60 GIRLS APPLY AND ACCEPTED 20! This year I am opening 10 spots and will take sign ups on a first come, first served basis. Because I have no idea what regulations will be with the Covid-19 situation, I want to keep my team small enough that we can still gather but keep everyone safe.
