This past Fall I had the opportiunity to work with a couple of local Boutiques for Editorial shoots featuring the girls on my Senior Team! We started the year playing with Frockify I really enjoyed meeting the owner, Dakota Jeane, and hearing about her passion for Vintage clothing. She has curated a great collection of both clothing and home goods that she has scouted through her unique approach to buying. Dakota explains “The idea behind Frockify is to travel all over the US and meet interesting people who have been holding onto their clothing for decades. We want to gain their trust, make a friend, then share their story by sharing their awesome frocks with you.”
Jacqueline, a Class of 2018 senior at Xavier College Prep, already has a classic Audrey Hepburn style, so the 1950’s era dress and accessories she found were just perfect for her! We had fun styling her in a classic up do, with winged liner and a red lip for our shoot!
The old brick and Ivy walls of the McKinley club added a fun backdrop for the setting! So fun to dress through the eras for our styled shoot. This Retro shoot was a total contrast from Jacqueline’s Senior portraits. And I’ve got a few Spring dates open if you still need to book your session! Contact me to BOOK YOUR SESSION DATE.
