I have wanted to do a Valentine’s shoot for a long time, so this January I grabbed one of the girls from my senior team and her very cute, very sweet boyfriend and headed out to oldtown Scottsdale for a fun afternoon! While we were shooting, I was asking them both questions about how they met and their favorite things to do together. Luke was the best sport and head over heels with Peyton. Seriously, the way he looks at her! I thought it’d be fun to hear all about their relationship in his words. “We first met sophomore year when I went to lunch with my baseball teammate who was actually dating her at the time. A year later we had the same 4th period english class. We started talking and eventually we hung out for the first time together! Peyton’s spunk and charisma is what I love most about her. She’s very energetic and can’t go one day without smiling and laughing about something. We aren’t very fancy people so for last Valentines Day we went to the burger joint “Islands” and had a blast.
Being athletes we both are super competitive and stubborn in an arguments. She somehow usually beats me in every board or card game we play. We both like to talk about our sports (Baseball and Softball) and learn from each others experiences. We both like movies and like to quote them and see if we cam name what movie the random quote is from. We also both like music and share playlists on Spotify. Peyton can be very stern and not afraid to speak her mind on a topic whereas I’m a little more reserved. She also likes to get work done fast whereas I’m more of a procrastinator when it comes to school.
We usually switch off picking our movies but we are more into Netflix shows that we both watch together like Dexter and Stranger Things! We like to do lots of things together whether its cheering on our high school sports teams on Fridays or going to do the fun things around the area, we really have the most fun by just being together and enjoying our time no matter what we do. If she ever gets down, which rarely happens, usually some flowers or a large drink from Dutch will cheer her up. Other times just spending time with is the best way to bring up her spirits. Peyton’s competitive edge and energetic personality is what I love about her. She always has a smile on her face and always figures out some way to have fun in life.”
Gah! I’m thinking I need to add Valentine’s Day Mini sessions to the books next year. These two were just too cute together and it made me miss shooting couples. I loved hearing all about their Goodwill dates and how they love to just be together, even just hanging out with her family for dinner. Thanks for playing Peyton and Luke! #relationshipgoals
