When a client asks for a bohemian session, I can’t say I’m disappointed! My creative heart soars a little bit at the thought of a breezy, sunlit session filled with flowy dresses and boho headpieces. That’s exactly what Alexi wanted. She’s another one of my senior spokesmodels from Xavier College Prep, and will graduate in the Class of 2017. Alexi brought along her best friend, Cam, and together, we headed out towards Piestewa Peak in Phoenix, where I knew we would get the lighting and desert feel she was hoping for. This sweet senior deeply loves her family, and says her mom is her personal hero because, “She is very driven and has a very caring nature. She inspires me everyday and is everything I strive to be.”  Alexi is loving senior year, and says the best part is being part of the leadership opportunities that have presented themselves, including guiding underclassmen through their classes. After earning her undergraduate degree, she hopes to attend medical school and become a neurosurgeon. She also wants to travel to Europe with with her best friend, and spend time with family in Portland.

For her session wardrobe, she brought a gorgeous lace maxi, an open-back floral maxi, and mauve minidress that had a coordinating headpiece. I love the way these dresses moved and flowed as she posed, which gave these photos plenty of bohemian flair. It was so fun to include her best friend, and I hope they can both look back on these photos and remember the fun day together, as well as their momentous senior year!
