While senior portraits are important, and celebrate the achievements of senior year, BFF sessions hold a special charm of their very own. Often high schoolers head off to college, and when they close out that chapter of their lives, sometimes their friend groups change, or they find they have less time to nurture the friendships that carried them through high school. A best friend’s session captures that amazing time when your friends are close, and life slows down just a bit.

These stunning young ladies were the most fun I could have imagined, and Makayla was one of my 2016 spokesmodels. She and her bestie spent the afternoon with me with plenty of dress-up, flower crowns, and lots of laughter. When you have sunlight, glitter confetti, and your best friend, what more do you need?
