Carly and her Classic Mustang

Yellow is one of my most favorite colors! It’s so sunny and bright and It just makes me feel happy. I was thrilled when Carly came for her pre-Session meeting and showed me the looks she was bringing. Bright, soft flowy yellow. Soft pinks and florals. And rounding everything up with a knock out LBD! I was even happier when she asked if she could bring her mom’s fully restored Cherry Red Ford Mustang along for some fun. Heck yes!

Carly’s a member of the performance dance team at Sunnyslope High School. She’s got a terrific sense of humor and everyone who knows her can tell you she will be the first to make you laugh! She brings such a fun, vibrant energy wherever she goes and I loved being the one to capture this season for her! Her mom works in event planning at the Scottsdale Civic Center so it was especially meaningful to have her pictures done there.
And then this happened, too. This was actually her Grandfather’s car that her mom now owns. It was a great add to her pictures and I loved that it has so much meaning to both of them! The setting sun added the perfect backdrop for the end of her session. I was loving all the sunflare and the way the light reflected off the car. So pretty!

Dance has been a large and very important part of her High School career. We had to end with a nod to all she does in the SHS Performance group, including choreographing part of her upcoming Spring Dance Show. This is a senior with a lot going on!
