I love this unique and special senior session! It has an urban, lifestyle feel that was a little bit different and a change of pace. Ellie absolutely loves her bedroom, and wanted to incorporate it into her shoot, so we made sure we did. She attends Chaparral High School, where she is diligent in her studies, and will graduate this May. In her home, they have a separate theater room, which is perfect for this theater-loving girl! She especially loves the Hamilton musical, and played the music throughout our session…we even added in her extra-fun tee-shirt. She had a ton of energy, and that translated well into her session! Although we shared a lot of laughs, she’s also serious about the things that matter most. She plans to study french, theater, and linguistics at her dream school, Brown University, where she is applying for early decision.

Ellie thought maybe I’d think her love of her bedroom decor, or the addition of her cat, might be an odd choice for her session, but guess what? I loved it. I believe your senior session should not reflect the photographer, but rather reflect YOU! I lend my artistic eye, my talent, and my composition skills, but the star? It’s you. So whether you’re a theater enthusiast, a musician, a dancer, or a bookworm, when we can add in special features or props, I am all for it. Want more information on what to expect?
