Glam Photo Studio Session

I love, love, LOVE having a new studio space to play in this year! I have always wanted to learn how to use strobes and off camera flash. I’m taking advantage of my new studio to do so this year! I invited Kylie to come in and do a glam photo studio session for New Years Eve. I gave her the option of pulling anything out of my Style Closet. She also brought her own dresses. We used some fun different backdrops and I tried a few different lighting set ups. Strobe lighting is so different than natural light and I’m excited about how much more I can do as I learn how to manipulate and direct that light. Take look at what we created. Some fun, expressive images and second, some more moody looks using a prism and darker backgrounds.

I also want to take a minute to swoon over her make up. Isn’t it just gorgeous? Hair and make up styling were done here at the studio by Stephanie Nault. I’m lucky to share my studio space with an amazingly talented Make Up artist. She is responsible for most of the fabulous looks shown in my images. When you book a session with me you have the option of having your hair and make up professionally done for your shoot. It’s a great way to take the stress off of you while enjoying a little glam time in the chair with Stephanie. And as you can see, the results are pretty amazing.

Shooting in the studio is also a great way to beat the crazy Arizona heat all summer long. I will be offering Studio Sessions as part of the Senior Portrait experience for Class of 2022! Studio sessions are great to add diversity to your final gallery. They are also great for BFF Sessions, Prom Dress Sessions and Cap and Gown. I’ll post more information on those offerings soon!
