Happy World Ballet Day | Jacqueline

It’s World Ballet Day and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with sharing images from my Class of 2018 Senior Team member Jacqueline’s session! As accomplished dancer and a Senior at Xavier College Prep, it was important to Jacqueline that we included a set of images with her in her pointe shoes. I was very happy to oblige! We shot her session at the beginning of August. The forecast for the day was a high of 109! We started shooting early in the morning to beat the crazy heat. I loved the soft light from our Sunrise session!  So worth the 5am make up start time. 

When I asked Jacqueline what her friends what say about her, she replied “My friends would most likely describe me as sassy, expressive, and perhaps a bit rebellious. They would definitely say that I laugh a lot, maybe too much!” I agree with the sassy and expressive part. Although there is no such thing as too much laughter! After high school, she plans to become a medical examiner while still always finding time to dance.

I have known this sweet and bright girl since she was in JR High! We had gone to the same church together as her family and I have the sweetest memories of spending time with Jacqueline up at summer camp when she was in 5th and 6th grades. And oh my, look what a gorgeous girl she has grown into!We finished a set with her dancing and I fell in LOVE with thee images! I love incorporating in the things my seniors feel passionate about. She was so graceful and beautiful to watch. Pretty sure you will see this lovely girl in another dance session soon!My Spring dates are now booking!
