Jessica’s Styled Birthday Shoot
I recently had the pleasure of shooting a 1970’s styled shoot to celebrate Jessica’s 40th birthday, and let me tell you, it was an absolute blast!
There’s just something about the 70s era that exudes a sense of coolness and nostalgia. From the music, to the fashion, to the iconic cars, the 70s is an era that continues to captivate us even today. And what better way to celebrate a milestone birthday than with a photoshoot that pays homage to this unforgettable time in history?
One of the things I love about shooting a 70s styled shoot is the creative freedom it allows. From the clothes to the props, there’s so much room for experimentation and playing around with different elements to create the perfect look. For this particular shoot, we went with a mix of bold prints, funky jewelry, and of course, the classic go-go boots. We also incorporated props like vintage telephones, records, and a music posters to really bring that 70s vibe to life.
But more than just the aesthetic, what really made this shoot special was the sense of empowerment and celebration it brought for Jessica’s birthday. It was clear that this shoot was about more than just taking some cool pictures – it was about embracing her journey, her individuality, and her strength. The 70s was a time when women were fighting for equality and making their voices heard, and this shoot was a way to pay tribute to that legacy while also celebrating the model’s own achievements.
And let me tell you, the results were nothing short of stunning.
