It’s sort of my favorite thing when a senior LOVES a certain feature or trait that they possess! I am all about strong girls, and self-confidence. So, when Jordan told me that she absolutely loved her hair, I made sure it was center-stage for her senior sessions in downtown Scottsdale, Arizona. She’s a graduate from Chaparral High School, a school centered on post-graduate preparation and participation in a lot of community service projects. Jordan would like to pursue nursing after graduation, and dreams of being a pediatric nurse. She is also an excellent swimmer.

For her session, she also wanted lots of color, and wanted an outdoor location. Downtown Scottsdale never fails to offer new nooks and crannies for my seniors, and we found bright tones to match this girl’s fun personality. Jordan says her personal style is very trendy, and features lots of bohemian styles. She enjoys shopping at stores like American Eagle and Francesca’s Boutique. Doing this bright, cheery sessions just brings a ton of light to my own life, and it’s truly the best part of my job to meet these seniors and bring their passions and dreams to life in photographs.
