Kayla | Class of 2017 | Arizona Senior Photographer

Kayla’s session has so much movement! Although these are obviously stills, I love the way that they all showcase her vibrant personality and emotions. Kayla attends Scottsdale Preparatory Academy, where she is an active part of the track team as a triple jumper. She was so hopeful that we could incorporate her passion for track into her session, and I was all ears! She brought her shoes and uniform along, and the desert hills were the perfect way to bring together beauty and strength and celebrate her accomplishments. We actually incorporated lots of fun personal props into her session, like the pair of Converse she’s worn since 9th grade (they have held up!), and her globe. I listened to all the things she wanted for her senior session, and I’m so pleased we were able to make these images happen.

This gorgeous graduate is really excited to wrap up her high school career, and continue on to college, where she hopes to study Environmental Science or Marine Biology. Besides all the amazing things she is so talented in, she is also a wonderful photographer, and hopes to study some of the craft in college as well (check out the shot with all her cameras). As far as her personal style, Kayla shared that she loves the bohemian look, so I made sure we captured some with true boho flair; her cold-shoulder top and breezy red dress were perfectly romantic and so flattering. Kayla adds that she enjoys shopping at places like H&M and Forever 21, and that she loves wearing pretty tones of blue, yellow and green.
