Bright, bold, and beautiful. That just about sums up this senior, Maeneka, from Xavier College Preparatory! She opted for lots of bold colors, and that’s pretty fitting for her personality. She’s got lots of drive and vision, and is already putting it to use as part of Xavier’s student council (she’s president this year!). “I couldn’t be more excited about being senior class president this year”, she says, “and the best part of being on the student council is being able to take part in all the school events, and bring a lot of pep to them! I really want my classmates to remember me as someone who was always upbeat”.

In order to capture her big personality (and super sweet spirit), we headed outdoors, where she thought the natural setting of the trees and this rustic barn would complement her outfits. I loved every piece she brought, but especially her cobalt dress, and her white peplum top. Maeneka loves shopping at places like Free People and Urban Outfitters, and says her style is slightly bohemian, with a little bit of an edge. After her graduation, she hopes to attend a college with “great academics and a good variety of student life and sports”.

We had such a great time together, and I wish her all the happiness and joy in her future!
