What’s so special about the Class of 2019? Well, it’s full of young people I am so proud to know, but more than that, they all have such a clear vision of where they are going in life, and who they are. That’s something they will carry with them well into adulthood, and that wisdom and passion is something I myself admire. With the rise of social media, Snapchat, and more, teens face more challenges than ever before, but they also have more opportunities to rise above things like bullying or life obstacles, and prove themselves strong. Maggie is so caring and loving, and the mighty Class of 2019 is lucky beyond words to have her as part of their ranks.
Maggie will graduate from Xavier College Prep this summer, after her successful and happy high school career. She was a very active club swimmer, and served as captain of the school’s swim team. She is very close to her family, and enjoy taking care of others whenever they need it. Her best advice to incoming freshman would be to get involved in the school, and to truly invest in and build community ties there. “I would also tell any incoming freshman that you should be there for one another, through all the good, and the challenges”, she added. Maggie has a beautiful sense of humor, and we laughed so much during her shoot! I really saw her blossom and grow in our time together, and she came out of her shell as we captured these happy and meaningful photos. After her commencement, she is heading to Santa Clara University.
So what’s so special about the Class of 2019? People like Maggie!
