Some people think that senior photos are simple. They seem pretty formulaic; simply take a cute girl, add a fun location, and some boutique clothing, and voìla! But adding the three elements together means nothing if you don’t take into account the emotions and feelings that should be front and center of your senior session. If all you need is a few snapshots, then any big box retailer can book you for a ten minute session, or you can simply use your school photos. But seniors and their parents come to me for more.
They come to me for an experience like the one I had with Noa, a graduate from Chaparral High School, and a very proud member of the Class of 2019. She heard about the SPP experience from a friend, and knew it would be the chance to celebrate her accomplishments thus far…accomplishments like participating in theatre, and maintaining her grades. She also loved her time in community theatre and school theatre productions, which expanded her horizons and helped spread her wings in the dramatic arts. Noa is extremely caring, happy, and empathetic, and is constantly checking on her friends and family to see if they need anything. “What makes me happiest in life is my friends and family, and the feeling when I have accomplished something”, she adds, “I knew SSP was right for me, because I have always wanted to do photoshoots, and I think being part of the program will help me in the future”. This self-described fashionista is happy and bright, and we choose a number of pretty, exciting locations that would show off her expressive personality. I loved her twin-set outfit, and thought I’d link some similar ones below if you’re planning your summer wardrobe!
