Makeup can be a really tricky balance when it comes to senior photography. I have worked hard to find professional makeup artists that find the delicate line between the glamorous and polished look we all want, and never making someone look unlike themselves. Sabrina is a natural beauty who wanted to keep her features visible, and feel like the photos represent who she is and what she truly looks like (beautiful inside and out!). That’s one of the many reasons I provide professional hair and makeup styling with our sessions; it makes sure you look camera-ready, but doesn’t detract from the things that matter to you. Our professional MUA’s also ask lots of questions and work at understanding the look YOU want, first and foremost, and they provide their expertise to make sure you walk into your shoot feeling confident and beautiful.
Even though this lovely girl was freezing cold, she still provided plenty of smiles and playful laughter! We did this shoot at a resort, where we had plenty of bold colors, and then we completed her shoot in the desert, where we found the cactus and wildflowers she requested. It was a very overcast and chilly day, so the wildflowers were a cheery addition. We also rounded out her unique wardrobe with some jewelry and hats from my exclusive style closet to add some elements of texture and color to each look. Her flowing, two-tone maxi dress was so elegant, and it worked perfectly with the turquoise necklace. Sabrina will be farewell to North Phoenix Prep Academy after graduation, and I am so proud of her. I know she will be successful in her next venture, and I truly enjoyed doing her senior photos!
