Soccer players and Best Friends

Meet Paige and her insanely smart, athletic and beautiful group of best friends! I love ending the school year with a Best Friend shoot to celebrate the girls who have been by your side through thick and thin. These friends all play soccer together and even through they are from different school across the valley, their love for the sport and their deep friendship ties them all together.

Instead of me telling you all about their friend ship, I asked each girl 4 questions about Paige, How they met, their favorite thing about her, her secret power and what they’d like her to know as they all go different directions for college. Read below all the great things they each had to say!

First up, Ashley had this to say. “We met when we were in diapers. Our parents were best friends which automatically meant we got to spend every minute together growing up. Paige was my very first friend ever and since then she’s been my forever sister. My favorite thing about her is how much of a perfectionist she is. Paige will go above and beyond to make others happy and I am so grateful to have such a caring friend in my life. I’d like her to know that wherever the next chapters of our lives take us, she will always be my forever sister and through thick and thin I am always going to be there for her. I want her to know that I love her and can’t wait to see where her life takes her!!

Delaney first met Paige when at a tryout for her soccer team and “her dad(the coach) made her partner up with me to do drills. She wasn’t very happy about it at first and she really intimidated me, but we ended up becoming best friends! My favorite thing about her is her optimism, she is always hopeful that things will turn out the way they are supposed to. She’s not worried about negatives. It really rubs off on other people and makes whoever she’s around happy and positive.
Her secret talent is Organization. Whether it is her room or her organizing plans for people, she is the most neat person I know. Without her I don’t know who would’ve gotten our friend group together every weekend!

Paige, I want you to know that you will always be my best friend no matter how far we are from each other. There is nobody who understands me better. I’m so thankful for all of the memories we have shared together. I can’t imagine not have having you over the past 8 years. It’s crazy how fast it has gone! It seems like it wasn’t that long ago when we were matching at school almost everyday and making to many inside jokes to count! I’m going to miss you so much in college.

“We first met when Paige joined Phoenix rush soccer club when we were freshmen in high school!!!” Molly said. She also shared “We became friends instantly because we were the two girls who talked to most on the soccer team. My favorite thing about her is her ability to have fun!! She is always there to cheer me/people up too when they need it! She has the best personality! I’d like her to know that she is/will always my best friend and I am so grateful to have someone like her in my life!”

Hannah and Paige first met “on the Polar Express when we were four years old. My favorite thing about her is her sense of humor. She never fails to make me laugh. I’d like her to know that our friendship is one that will last a lifetime. She is the sister I never had and the best friend a girl could ask for!

Lauren and Paige first met when “she came to Blackhawks to play soccer. We knew of each other, but never had the privilege of playing on the same team. Little did we know high school soccer would be the real place we became extremely close. My favorite thing about her is her natural and unmatched beauty and personality. Whether it be dressed up for a night out with friends or a movie night in pajamas, Paige always manages to sweep the center of attention. She always knows how to put a smile on my face and I never fail to have a good time when I’m with her. She’s stunningly beautiful inside and out and I cannot help but admire her stunning aura whenever I’m with her.

Her secret talent is party planning. She may not admit it, but whenever our friend group wants to hang out, Paige is always organizing something fun and exciting for us to do. She’s always the first one to volunteer a helping hand with events so they run smoothly. They may seem stressful at first, but she always manages to make sure everyone has a rockin’ time.

I’d like her to know how I have been honored to spend the past four years with her as a best friend. She has helped me in so many ways and for that I could not thank her enough. Our time together has been so important to me and I’m going to cherish it more than anything. I’m going to miss not having her by my side in college, but I know she is going to do amazing things at ASU. I can’t wait our future memories and life events together. I love you P!”
