I’m loving getting to know Madison! She’s part of my Senior Team and I can’t wait to share more of the images we capture through her Senior year. We shot her session bright and early in the morning to avoid the high heat of July in Phoenix. The bright, colorful backdrop was perfect for her playful, sunny personality! I always ask my Senior Team members about their biggest accomplishments in high school. Madison, a Class of 2018 Senior at Chaparral High School has maintained straight A’s and a 4.777 GPA all through her 1st semester senior year, all while training as a year round competitive swimmer on Scottsdale Aquatic Club National team. This competitive swimmer keeps busy with 10 practices a week and full school schedule. She’s also in the National Honors Society at Chap and loves volunteering at the events they offer (especially the ones that include animals)! In her spare time, she also helps her mom, who’s a physical therapist for children.
After high school, she plans to swim Division 1 in college and just recently committed to Columbia University! She choose her school because she felt it will allow her to reach her full potential in swimming and academics, especially since she plans to study medicine. But don’t make the mistake of thinking she’s only about swimming and school work. She is definitely a “fashionista” and loves keeping up with all the new trends, dressing up nice and wearing makeup. She says “I love shopping and putting together outfits for my sister. Fashion has been a hobby of mine for years now! Apparently, by the time I was 4 years old, I was picking out my own outfits and telling my mom what I wanted and didn’t want to wear!”I love working with High School athletes. There is such beauty in strength and Madison has such natural grace. We had fun hamming it up and letting her inner super model out to play for the day! As part of my Senior Team, Madison will be doing an editorial shoot with a local boutique this month. Stay tuned for more images of this confident, funny and smart beauty!
