Lucky you, you get to meet Taylor today! She is Maddie’s twin (see the last blog for reference), and is another knockout beauty, sensitive soul, and amazing young lady. When her friend Sarah became part of my SSP team, it really sparked Taylor’s interest in our unique program. “I started looking into it, and from all the pictures, it just looked like such a fun environment”, she explained, “The main reason I was so excited about applying was because it was not about being a model, it was about much more than just the way someone looked. It had a focus on who the person is on the inside, and it really brings out their inner beauty”. Speaking of inner beauty, this girl has plenty. Like her sister, one of her biggest accomplishments has been traveling to Nicaragua, working at a school and helping build reinforcements around the buildings to fend off flooding. “Many of the people there came to teach us about what they do, like making ceramic pots, or learning how the school came to be, or where they get their water. This was the biggest accomplishment of my high school years, because it was the most eye opening. I really learned that there are so many ways to help the community by doing little things”, she adds.

Taylor is an a very talented Badminton player at Xavier, and has been part of the program for about three years. “I also plan on playing Badminton next year, and I have been part of the National Charity League since the seventh grade”, says Taylor, “I have made so many friends through my work there, and have participated in making my community a better place.” Taylor is well loved among her circle of friends, and jokes that they would probably describe her as a little weird and quirky, but also very organized! This lovely young lady is happy-go-lucky, and a delight to be around. When it comes to style, you’ll find a mix of casual and edgy pieces in her wardrobe, and she likes waffling between leggings/sweatshirts, and more dressy outfits. “I feel most beautiful when I am relaxed, natural, and just purely happy…When I am happiest, I am beautiful”, she smiles.
