Twins | Maddie and Taylor

Each year, I am lucky enough to work with a set or two of twins. It’s always an unique experience and a special challenge to get to capture each twin’s personality and style individually and together. Many parents who have multiples wonder about the process, and how it works. Some worry their children will be “lumped together”, but I always assure them that our program works specifically to highlight each person’s personality. I always include images of each one separately, in order to provide them the full weight of the celebration, and then of course, we do some together, to mark the special bond that twins share. Maddie and Taylor are part of my senior team this year, and they each shared some memories and thoughts about being twins:

Maddie (red top below) shared that “having a twin is having a friend you can completely trust all the time, and being so close that you have arguments with each other!”. She also added that she appreciates Taylor’s trustworthiness, and her sense of humor. “My favorite part of being a twin is that we understand each other like no one else”, contributed Taylor, “We are each other’s best friend, are ‘friends by choice, sisters by chance'”. The pair is going to college together at Gonzaga University. “We will not be rooming together and won’t even be in the same building”, adds Taylor, “But this is the perfect set up, because we will grow as individuals, and still get to have sleepovers and sister bonding”.

I feel so grateful to have worked with these two, and the way they added depth and love to my senior team. I look forward to following along on their next adventures, together and apart!
