If you are looking for a photographer that only shoots in one location or lighting, than I am probably not the choice for you. I absolutely LIVE for the seniors that want to try new things! Take Isabella’s session. She wanted a vintage, old Phoenix feel to her session. Oh boy did we have fun creating her vision! She had this gorgeous old powder blue Ford she wanted in her pictures. And just scroll through to see her very fun wardrobe choices! Head to toe, she was styled perfectly for that long gone era feel.
We started at the Herberger Theater, getting permission to shoot inside! Her mirror ball dress was perfect for the hanging bubble lights and theater setting. Bella has gone on to pursue her dreams in Acting. This setting was the perfect start to her Senior Portraits!
Next, she changed into this amazing Vintage pantsuit paired with that daisy choker and yellow satin heels. We shot around the vintage Ford and created a story of starlet ready to take on the stage. True Story: The car was pretty much just a shell. It had to be pulled in on a trailer and parked. Where it landed was in the worst location for lighting, but where they were able to find parking. I took on the challenge using a scrim to soften the harsh sunlight and used the car body itself to block the light on Bella.

Next we moved on to the Post Office and the San Carlos Hotel. again pulling in a vintage theme with that trench coat and red slim belt. And can we take just a minute to swoon over those patterned boots? Yes please to all the attention paid on the details pulling these looks together. We choose to shoot in the most urban of places. AN empty bus stop, the front of the post office, the steps of the San Carlos. Proving again location is just a part of the puzzle that makes a good final image.
We finished the evening shooting in her Prom dress and bringing in Mini Mouse ears to celebrate her love for Disneyland. I loved the vibrant feel of all of her looks! This was such a memorable session for me, bringing in so many facets and creating a gallery that really showed off her sparkling personality. If you are ready to create the Session of your dreams, reach out and let’s get started. I can’t wait to hear from you and start planning your Senior Portraits!
