Sunrise Photo Sessions: A Great Way to Beat the Heat and Get Stunning Senior Pictures
Congratulations on the start of your Senior year at Xavier College Prep High School! You are probably aware at this point of some of the early September yearbook deadline. As you start planning your senior portraits, you’re probably thinking about how to beat the heat of the Arizona desert. One great option is to schedule a sunrise photo session.
Why book a Sunrise Session?
There are several reasons why a sunrise photo session is a good idea for high school seniors in Phoenix. First, the temperatures are much cooler in the morning, so you’ll be more comfortable and relaxed during your shoot. Second, the light at sunrise is soft and diffused, which creates a more flattering look for your photos. Third, the sunrise is a beautiful time of day, and your photos will capture the magic of the morning hours.
Here are a few tips for planning a successful sunrise photo session:
Choose a location that has good morning light. This could be a park, a desert landscape, or even your own backyard.
Arrive early to scout the location and set up your equipment. I know several great spots where the morning light is just perfect!
Dress in layers so you can adjust your clothing as needed.
Bring a water bottle and snacks to stay hydrated.
Be patient and enjoy the process! Allow yourself plenty of time for breaks. The heat takes more out of you then you might think!
